Lin and Lew Coleman 13th March 2023

I still remember Sue behind the desk at Godalming Library every Friday evening as I took back and checked out another Talking Book to get me through the following week's journeys around the M25. We'd laugh when she had to inform me that I'd taken 'this one out six months ago' - and this was despite me having read the plot synopsis on the back! Lin too has fond memories of Sue being the first up to dance at those music events we attended way back when. It was pair of them on the dance floor together – Mike and I being more interested in the beer. A day hasn’t gone past since we heard the sad news of her passing, that we haven’t remembered, reminisced and talked about the times we shared with her and Mike. We have continually been amazed to hear of her incredibly brave and positive attitude to her dreadful condition. She was always cheerful and had a smile on her face when we visited. We thought of her often when problems arose with us, but compared to hers they were nothing. Things we remember about Sue: • Great fun and a great cook • Loved dancing – always kind and friendly • A fabulous wife, partner, mum and grandma • One hell of an amazing girl and friend to us Sue, we will miss you so much.
